now this was indeed a longggggg story that was very interesting. a boy who was born into a prophecy. no matter how much or how far the parents went to make sure this never happens eventually it does. there in no way to escape a prophecy. sooner or later it will be fulfilled and then it will all be over.

nine ten

i believe that when you go for an interview or something like that they tell u to go at a certain time expecting you to show up a half hour late and then they start about an hour after the 1st person arrives. its very confusing but it makes alot of sense to the ones who are setting the times.

i dream before i take the stand

i can realte to the girl in the story because of all the questions that she is being asked. its like we did something wrong just by enjoying a nice day in the park.

this story wasnt to great in excitement but i like the a - b conversation the attendant and the person had. it was kind of like a typical day in the life of an attendant who gets bored quickly

i did not like this story at all. the beginning was basically a chick flick type scenario, the middle wasnt all that great and y the time i got there i was falling asleep. theres not much i can say about this story because i just did not enjoy it at all

where are you going? where have you been?

this story was a real ending killer. they went through so much to not say what was going to happen at the end of the story. i know that the ending doesnt matter but it wouldve been nice to know exactly what happened

big black good man

this story was a good way to earn respect for the african americans. the main idea for this story was to show that everything that was said about the "blacks" is not true. this story was written to show that everyone in human, we are all on the same side

everything that rises must converge

this story was intended to show how things can go wrong. when certain things are going good for someone all of a sudden everything backfires and that person is worse than they first started. sometimes i think its better to just have a normal life, and not try to make it the best life. eventually you will pay for your actions.

Agood man is hard to find

i guess you can say that this story is true. Any good man can change into a bad one. sometimes its only a matter of time. when you look for something you need in your life you will never find it, let that need find you

Doe Season

What stood out for me was the turning point in the story. "He makes so much noise, she thought, just noise and more noise." What this shows is that no matter how much she has wanted to be just like her father she is starting to see that a boy/man can be very annoying. she starts to think again of what a male really is like. through out the rest of the story she realizes she doesnt want to continue the life she thought she would travel.

Story of an Hour

This story was good. The last sentence was very clever and still questions me till this day. "When the doctors came they said she had died of heart disease - of joy that kills" What i understand from that sentence is that it is saying that she has died because of a heart disease, and her heart disease was caused by a joy which could have been the death of her husband. does it mean that she was overly excited that her husband dies which raises alot of questions. what does everyone think could have been the reason?

Dinner For One

This has to be one of the funniest things i was required to watch. I have never laughed so hard in a classroom before. A good thing about this is that not only is it hilarious but it sends a message to everyone. When you drink to much you tend to act very stupid and alot of people will be laughing at you. Your body cannot be controlled, it does whatever it wants and thats not always a good thing. the only thing missing from this video was the bad stuff that can happen to a drunk individual.

Weird Song

This song/artist list thing had no impact to me at all. i thought it was very weird, kinda cool in a sense but it didnt interest me. The only thing that i could think to write about was Bob Marley because he was listed in the story. What is a Banyan Tree? Thats what i thought of when I read the title. When I researched about it. While researching i found pictures of a Banyan Tree and i learned what it was. A&P Still Exists

When i read this story I immediately thought, are there any A&P's still out there and i began my search on google.com.
